As mentioned previously, I was considering wrapping this seedling in parafilm grafting tape. This is the first time I’ve used it, so hopefully it works out. Here’s a few photos of the before and after wrap-job.
The exact film I purchased can be bought on Amazon here: Parafilm Nursery Grafting Tape (2 Rolls; 0.5″wide X 1080″long per roll). A few other options I would consider today if I were looking to purchase it now:

Based on the little research I’ve done, it may take a few months to get the trunks to fuse together if successful. Also, I will be changing the nutrient solution for something stronger, since the leaves are looking pretty light when they should be much darker and shiny.
